Bah-humbug!

Is it too early to sound bah-humbug and say that I hate the Christmas season?!

Okay, I shouldn’t say that because I don’t have the Christmas season.  As a matter of fact, I’ve recently gotten something Christmas-y to share with y’all in the near future.  So, I guess what I meant to say is that while I love to decorate my house for Christmas, which I plan to do as soon as thanksgiving get’s here — assuming I can get it all cleaned up– and I love to spend the holiday with my husband, and my family when I can swing it, I really hate the commercialization of the holiday.  I hate all the commercials that try to get you to buy every day things, like espresso machines and electric razors, like they’re more of a great gift at Christmas then they would be at other times of the year.

The holiday commercials are just ridiculous!  Frankly, I think a nice espresso machine would make a great gift no matter what time of year it is!  Maybe I’ll pull mine out and dust it off.  Matt loves coffee so much.  I hate to see them all dressed up for Christmas trying to sell stuff.  HATE IT.  I hate that Wal-Mart starts putting out Christmas stuff the day after Halloween.  Ease up, Wal-Mart, ease up!

Yeah, today I’m in a bah-humbug mood, but I’m sure tomorrow I’ll feel better… unless I see too many Christmas commercials.

Yeah, it’s crazy. It’s like they skip right over the fall! I actually really hate it, but I also understand that people like to get their stuff early. Before Halloween, though, now that’s crazy!
