Miracle Berries!

Filed under: Health — Kristyn @ 7:40 pm

berriesI’ve been fighting off sickness this week.  It started Tuesday and I’ve been feeling pretty blah on and off since, but I’m really, really not in a position to get sick right now.  I got a box of Complete Health Respiratory Guard flu cure medicine in by mail this last week and I’ve been taking it, hoping it would do what it says it will, and boost my immune system so I don’t get sick all the way.

The lozenges are chewable, which always makes me leery, but they actually taste really nice.  They’re taste like blueberry, which makes sense as they have blueberry flavoring in them.  I’ve been taking them two at a time, like the box suggests.  I don’t normally take flu cure meds, I just ride it out, but having gotten this, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try them!

Overall, I really like them.  They’re making me feel good, which is helping to combat the sick.  I don’t think I can think of a time that I’ve started to get sick, but didn’t get all the way there.  This time is unique, so I can only conclude it has something to do with the medicine.  The pills are Elderberry, which is funny because Elderberry is my grandfather’s middle name!  Anyway, it’s one of those miracle berries everyone’s talking about, along with Acai.

Anything that makes sure I can not get sick so I can actually graduate is okay in my book!

Ha Ha!! Daddy always pronouced grandpa’s middle name Elderberry…It was actually Ellsbury…. Where they got such a name I don’t know, I can only guess if we were to follow his family history we would find, that was someones last name somewhere along the line.

I love you and hope you feel better honey!! Mom :)

Aw!! I always thought it was Elderberry!

Speaking of middle names… what was Grandma Norma’s middle name? Was it Rae or Mae? I was talking about this with someone the other day and I couldn’t remember.

    I love you, too!

Gramma Norma’s middle name was Mae…I thought it was Rae when we named Staci… Dad wanted to make Staci’s middle name after his mom and he had it confused…So Staci’s name should have been Staci Mae instead of Staci Rae…but oh well… Staci likes Rae better than Mae anyway! Ha!
    Love ya, Mom
