Education, online
With the economy being what it is right now, a lot of people are turning to education. Those who never finished their degrees are going back to school, while those who did are applying for graduate school. Trust me on this one, I’m one of the masses who’re flocking to graduate education as a way to seek shelter from the horrible economy.
Many of those students, or would-be students, are looking for their education over the Internet. Traditional classroom settings are waning in favor of something a bit more accessible, online degree plans. Schools like Western Governors University (www.wgu.edu) are offering everything from education in the humanities and teaching to more technical, trade-based programs like rn to bsn online nursing degrees. The good thing about online schools, like this one, is that they offer both undergraduate and graduate degree plans in fields that are in demand in the workforce. So, when people with their eduction through these very accessible, accredited, schools they’re able to enter, or re-enter, the economy in a better position than they might otherwise have been.
I, myself, have been considering a low residency, online MA. It’s a good way to get it done in an expedient way that can fit any life. That way, I can go to school and have a job, another great advantage of online education. It’s becoming a much more acceptable and respected way to get educated.

How much faster? Would you still be able to do the assistantship or have contacts who could help you? Just curious because I know that you need to get work or one of you does anyhow or maybe you both do? I know that you will do what is best for you though….
Love You!! Mom~

I looked into it, but I don’t think it’ll work out for me. Most of the programs take a bit longer than mine, there’s no assistantship, and for what I want to go into, it’s more expensive. So, I’m just going to stay here and go to Tarleton for the 4 semester it’ll take me to finish!
